EM-bark On A Purr-fect Friendship
Fuzzy Friends Rescue is more than just an animal shelter. It is the "Hallmark of Making A Difference." We care about our animals and want to find loving homes for all of them. FFR is one of the largest NO-KILL shelters in the Central Texas community. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. All animals are cared for until adopted. At any one time there are approximately 125 animals awaiting adoption. In 2002 the cost to take care of one animal was $300. The veterinary and medical costs were $50,000.

We em-barked on a new program in the summer of 2003. The FFR Alumni Club was chartered to increase monies which will be designated to the veterinary and medical fund. Until a caring family comes along and adopts an animal, they must be taken care of daily. Some have even been here for a year or two.

This is paws-itively a move in the proper direction to meet the needs for 2020 Vision (click here for more information)

Anyone who has adopted an animal from Fuzzy Friends Rescue is eligible to join. The dues are $25 per year. You will receive an FFR Alumni Club Bumper Sticker, Newsletter and your name will be added to the FFR Alumni Club listing on our website for the current year. Membership is for one year and must be renewed each year.

Become a paws-itive partner with us and all the animals by helping continue the legacy founded in 1997. Over the last seven years Fuzzy Friends Rescue has saved approximately 8,000 precious animals lives.
