Fuzzy Friends Rescue Story of the Month

Sawyer was found abandoned in the country by a good Samaritan. He was matted, dirty and very hungry. After being surrendered to Fuzzy Friends Rescue, he was given a bath and a good grooming and was given much needed food, water and TLC. He was negative for heartworms and was given his vaccinations and treated for intestinal parasites and started on monthly heartworm prevention.

UPDATE ON SAWYER

His new owner re-named him John Paul 2. He has now been groomed two more times by his new owner and since he is now receiving the care he needs on a regular basis, he looks like a different dog. His new owner thinks he is adorable!  He said that everyone loves him, he is quiet, never barks, sits on command, obeys me most of the time, loves treats and loves to be loved. He is a lucky dog.
